Mandala art is a powerful symbolic expression of the unity between human existence and the structure of the universe. It is a vehicle by which we become touched by deep insights into the ultimate nature of form and creation.

Mandala art is a powerful symbolic expression of the unity between human existence and the structure of the universe.
Four of these triangles of the Shri Yantra are orientated upright representing Shiva or the Masculine. Five of these triangles are inverted triangles represent Shakti or the Feminine. The Om symbol is the primal sound which brings spirit into form. 


My personal exploration with drawing the Shri Yantra led me to this painting of the Creative Web. Through drawing and painting this ancient symbol I developed whole new respect for the complexity of it and the ways in which it activates the creative force and expresses patterns of reality that cannot be accessed in any other way. 

This symbol showed me how everything is interrelated and interdependent.
